This collector plate is a replica of one that Haviland & Co. was commissioned to manufacture in 1876 for the US Centennial. The 8.75" diameter Haviland plate was a duplicate of one made for Martha Washington in 1796. This 1972 Limited Edition replica plate is #1961 of 2,500 and features a border of the 13 colonies, according to the accompanying brochure. In Excellent Condition with original brochure.
