Marked on base "B.A.C.A. Caltagirone", this elaborate vintage planter was produced in the Italian town of Caltagirone in Sicily. This ceramic piece depicts a North African Moor in ceremonial head covering with earring. It is in Very Good condition, with very minor imperfections along the feather headdress (see close up photos.)
