This small stone carving of a water buffalo is signed "E. Mavura". Possibly the work of South African artist Emmanuel Mavura, but cannot be sure. It measures 5" w x 2" d x 3.5" h. Has a lot of nice details. Made of soft stone like soapstone. In Good condition with a few surface scratches (see photos.)
