Back in the day, this old school device could be found in every home. The spring-loaded lid opens to the correct page, selected by a pointer on the side. The bottom portion is brown metal and the lid is brass with a leather insert. The pages are mostly clean, but some pages have had writing in pencil that has been partially erased. there's some wear on the brass. Good Vintage Condition.
