Pretty hand-painted porcelain figures of a gentleman and lady in 18th century costumes. The man wears a three-cornered hat and an elaborate coat and carries a sword. The lady sits in a chair and wears a full-skirted pink dress with a cinched waist and plays a violin. The neck of the violin is missing, and the gentleman is missing a hand, perhaps lost in a sword fight. There is a bit of paint chipped off on both of the figures, on the back.
