This unusual "executive" or "presentation" radio is an Emerson battery-powered AM radio repackaged for desktop use, and in this case, it was a prize in the Desert Inn Country Club 1958 Fall Roundup golf championship. The two holes in the metal grill are for pen-holder inserts. The medium stained wood case is engraved with a rope motif. The wood has a good it of wear around the volume knob and there is other wear scattered around on the wood. The speaker grille is in good shape. It requires two "A" and one "B" battery (hard to find). Not tested. A one-of-a-kind vintage find!
