This turquoise blue pottery horse figurine is an original piece by American artist Chris Moses. Moses lives in Ashville, NC area and produced whimsical clay animals in the Japanese Raku pottery technique. This figurine is also a whistle! It has a slit opening at the top of the tail for blowing into. It is stamped "MHC" and signed by the artist on the base. Moses made these clay creations, known as the Raku Zoo, for 35 years ago and ceased producing them 5 years ago. In Excellent Condition.
