Swadeshi was a movement in colonial India to promote self-reliance by encouraging the purchase and use of goods made my Indians instead of British goods. This colorful modern tray, made in India, is reminiscent of the Swadeshhi movement. There is some light chippage of the paint around the edges, but the tray is very attractive.
