This harbor seascape is an original artwork by Clive Richard Browne (British, 1901-1991). Browne was a highly active regional painter who exhibited his work widely, including at prestigious venues such as the Royal Academy of Arts, the Paris Salon, and the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Public collections of his work are held by institutions like the Usher Gallery in Lincoln. This oil on canvas painting comes in a 1970s white wood frame with integrated linen matte border. The piece is in Excellent condition, and the frame is in Good condition with some corner and edge nicks.
