This original artwork is signed by German-Israeli Bauhaus artist Erich Glas (1897-1973.) This etching depicts a historic town arched passageway. Born in Berlin, Glas studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich and specialized in intricate printmaking techniques, including etchings and woodcuts. This small 4" x 4.5" print is not only signed by artist, it is also nicely matted in pale blue and framed in a silver-painted wood frame. Image is in Excellent condition. The frame has tiny dings at bottom right corner and along the right outside edges.
