This clear, straight-sided bottle is how "soda pop" got its name. To open it, the stopper was pushed in causing a popping sound...hence soda pop! But you probably already knew that. The Hutchinson style bottle was the norm for soda bottles before 1900. This bottle is embossed with Forster & Polhemus Poughkeepsie NY. It comes with its original metal stopper. In Great condition with no chips or cracks.
